Court Appearances in Tucson

Court hearings in Pima County guardianship, conservatorship and probate cases are heard in Pima County Superior Court, 110 W.Congress, Tucson, Arizona 85701. The building looks like this:

You are at the intersection of Church and Alameda looking in a southwesterly direction.

There is an underground parking garage located under the Main Public Library on the Southeast corner of Church and Alameda. There is another underground parking garage located between City Hall and the Old Courthouse on Alameda.

Most non-contested guardianship, conservatorship and probate matters are heard by one of several Court Commissioners. These hearings often take place at 9:00 AM in Romm 207. Contested matters are heard before the Presiding Probate Judge. Upon arriving at the courthouse, you will have to walk through metal detectors; please be aware that this added security takes additional time. The judges and commissioners require that you are prompt. Do not wear shorts, halter tops or sandals to court.

In order to locate the courtroom which has been assigned to your case, see the TV Panels in the middle of the courthouse lobby.
